I just had to send you a note to say that I believe that there is a couple out here unlike any I know following any band anywhere lately....

Norma and Mike Eaton (aka Mic) from West Yorkshire, UK. They both come to many Jukes show in the UK but more impressive they come to more shows here in the states than I do and I can't imagine how they manage that!

I met them both in the "The Whale's Tale" in Hampton Beach before a show a few years ago. I had 2 extra tickets way up front...center stage...because 2 friends japed (spell check actually liked this one ???) out on me...and after a short conversation with them both, I realized that they had traveled so far to see this show that they somehow deserved better seats than what they held at the time. I gave them my tickets and on the way into the venue, I gave their tickets to a young couple at the ticket booth deciding if they should spend the money to see the show that night...I never followed up on that end ...but I did get to know Norma and Mick as a result....

These are true fans, my god. How many fans do we have that get on planes to see shows like these two souls...

But more importantly, Norma and Mick sent me a video of South singing "Into The Harbour" after I had posted on the internet about how much I love this song and how it reminded me of my dad after his recent passing.

These two are gems in their own right ,far more than FOM honors. They are aces in my eyes and I hope you see fit to place them into the archives of Jukedome FOM ....

They deserve it in so many ways!
