GREETINGS FELLOW TROUBLE-MAKERS! I have been told in no uncertain terms that I MUST scribble something for the new website, or face the wrath of the Durborow. Much as I am loathed to take my time away from my busy round of polo tournaments and debutante balls, I will comply. Oh Jeeves...fetch me a martini to get me through this, won't you? Da Jukes and I are working on a new CD (LP? record? whateveh...) It started out as a blues thing, but has morphed into a strange mix of blues, rock and roll, and r+b. What it ends up being is anybody's guess. I would like to pretend that I am a thoughtful, well-prepared, visionary artiste like Steven or Bruce, But you all know better. Whateveh happens, happens. Fortunately, Garry Tallent is producing, so my worst excesses will be somewhat curbed. He is however on the road with the e-streeters earning a real living, so, left to my own devices, I have decided to add a slight polka element to what we already have. I don't think he'll mind, do you? As far as the release date, I am hoping to have something available this summer. There will be (I hope) songs to download and a CD you can order through the net. Then again, maybe I'll just go fishing. Hope to see youse dere.
