Southside Johnny.com: John's Jive

My, how the time flies when you're having fun. It seems only months since I wrote my last jive and, in reality, it's been....months. First on the agenda: Jukestock. Could it have gone better? Could I have enjoyed it more? Could the folks who set it up have done a better job?.....I don't see how. You guys were great and fun and sarcastic with me...as I had always hoped you would be. The audience was beautiful, the sound was beautiful, the celery sticks backstage were beautiful, even the band was.......but I digress. The only way I can thank all of you for such a great experience is to go on the road and work them damn Jukes to death....of course, I have to stay behind because they need me at headquarters.

On a serious note...oh, forget it. When is that ever gonna happen? Me an' da Yukes will be on display at various points this summer, and youse better get yer last looks in before they embalm us for the good of the republic. We will also be performing on television, radio, short wave, and, for all I know, in peoples bathrooms (Thanks Bill!!!) this year, because THE JUKES NEVER REST!!!!!!.....nap, maybe, but rest, no.
